Thomas Fischer is the co-founder and CEO of ContractIQ, an AI-powered contract intelligence platform for enterprise legal and procurement teams. Thomas spent a decade in enterprise software, most recently as VP of Product at DocuSign where he led their CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) product line. He saw enterprise legal teams drowning in contracts but using tools designed for the paper era, which inspired ContractIQ's vision of bringing true intelligence to contract management. ContractIQ uses LLMs specifically trained on legal language to automatically extract obligations, identify risks, and provide actionable insights from contract portfolios. Unlike horizontal AI tools, ContractIQ's models are optimized for legal precision and integrate deeply with enterprise systems (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce). Current metrics: $2.4M ARR (growing 25% QoQ), 35 enterprise customers, 94% gross retention, 115% net retention, 18-month average contract value of $85K. Key customers include a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical company, two major banks, and several large tech companies. The company raised a $4M seed from Emergence Capital and strategic angels. The team of 25 includes Thomas (CEO), a Stanford AI PhD (CTO), and an ex-Google Cloud enterprise sales leader (CRO), plus dedicated customer success and ML engineering teams.
